Michael Siedschlag

Chairman

Mr. Siedschlag was originally appointed to the Board in January 2006, and was confirmed by the Legislature on February 14, 2006.  Governor Heineman reappointed him to the Board on October 26, 2009, and he was confirmed by the Legislature on November 10, 2009.  His current term of office will expire on January 1, 2014.  He is the Board's designated engineer member.

Mr. Siedschlag graduated from the University of Nebraska in 1974 with a Bachelor's degree Civil Engineering.  He worked for Geotechnical Services, Inc. for 27 years and has been with HDR Engineering, Inc. for the last five years.  He is a Vice President and Program Manager of HDR’s Environmental and Resource Management group in the corporate headquarters in Omaha, Nebraska.

Mr. Siedschlag is a private pilot and enjoys hunting, fishing and outdoor sports.  He is an active member of Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church and serves as Vice Chair of the Building Committee.
